Sometimes rumors get started and it is difficult to get the truth out. A big one we’ve run into recently is that The Shape Shop is closed. Nothing could be further from the truth.
We were in our Patrick Street location for 43 years, but after Kmart and Weight Watchers closed, there was no point in staying there. We took the opportunity to move just outside of town to the Bonham Business Park in what used to be the Bonham Elementary School.
Just head up Route 21 or I-77 to Edens Fork Road. With I-77 under construction the best way to get to The Shape Shop is Route 21- Sissonville Road. Turn right on Edens Fork then right again at PPSI circle and follow the signs.
At our new location, we have everything we had at our Patrick Street location, but we also have a wonderful new Shape Shop food trailer. We are bringing our food to you.
Every Thursday from 11 am to 2 pm the food trailer is at CASCI on Kanawha Boulevard and every Friday evening throughout the summer we are participating in Live on the Levee. Opening night for that event was fantastic and everyone was so grateful we were there.
We are still looking for other locations to bring the food trailer as well, so let us know if you have connections at a location and can help set something up.
So, remember, if you hear the rumor that The Shape Shop has closed, set whoever is spreading that rumor straight and let them know how to find us.
Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information on where the food trailer will be.
